Asgard Controlled Environments were appointed to design and deliver a full site upgrade which included three number ISO Class 7 & 8 Manufacturing Cleanrooms, CNC Support Areas, Electrical Infrastructure, New Chilled Water, forming of new central offices areas as well as a complete upgrade to the external main reception.
All of the works carried out across a two-year period had to be undertaken on the very busy live PALL Manufacturing site in Ilfracombe, whilst the works were intrusive and required shutdown of demarcated areas it was imperative that production was not interrupted for compromised at all during the works.
The works covered a verity of elements but in generally they consisted of the following:
- Design and Construction of three ISO Class 7 Cleanroom Manufacturing Areas.
- New Chilled Water System including external support platform and new pipe bridge.
- Upgrade of HVAC systems
- Complete upgrade to the client BMS system.
- Upgrade and modification to the existing Compressed Air System.
- Upgrade to Electrical Supply to Site Manufacturing Area.
- Upgrade to the site main Reception Area façade.
- Design and Installation of a large Pipe External Bridge for multiple services.
